Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD) has appointed Admiral Michael S. Rogers, a retired U.S. Navy officer, to its board of directors. Rogers, who served as Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and Commander of U.S. Cyber Command from 2014 to 2018, will join Innodata immediately.
Rogers' extensive background includes leading the nation's signals-intelligence organization and the unified command responsible for defending U.S. military networks and conducting cyber operations. He has advised the President, the Secretary of Defense, and Congressional leaders on cyber threats throughout his career, which spans more than three decades in the Navy. Rogers also served as Commander of U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and Director of Intelligence for both U.S. Pacific Command and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He is the first Information Warfare Community officer to achieve the rank of admiral.
Post-retirement, Rogers has served as Senior Advisor to the Brunswick Group and currently serves on the board of Science Applications International Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business from Auburn University and a master's degree in national security from the National Defense University.
Innodata's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jack Abuhoff, stated that Rogers joins the board as the company accelerates its Federal practice, which was launched last Fall, and develops capabilities for AI system security.
Other board members include General (Retired) Richard D. Clarke, former Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, and Daniel H. Callahan, a technology executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience across Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and IBM.
Innodata provides data engineering services and AI enablement capabilities to government and commercial clients.
