Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD), a global provider of data engineering and artificial‑intelligence solutions, announced the appointment of Admiral Michael S. Rogers to its board of directors. The appointment is effective as of the announcement on September 15, 2026.
Admiral Rogers served as director of the National Security Agency and commander of U.S. Cyber Command from 2014 to 2018, retiring in 2018 after more than three decades of service as a four‑star Navy officer. He was the first Information Warfare Community officer to attain flag rank and oversaw the transformation of Cyber Command into a unified combatant command.
Jack Abuhoff, Innodata's chairman and chief executive officer, said, "There is no one better positioned to help guide this chapter of Innodata's growth than Admiral Rogers." The company highlighted Rogers' experience in cybersecurity and government contracts as aligning with its recently launched federal practice, which began last fall to provide data‑engineering and AI capabilities to U.S. government and defense missions.
Rogers joins a board that already includes General Richard D. Clarke, former commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, and technology executive Daniel H. Callahan, who has held senior roles at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and IBM. Outside Innodata, Rogers serves on the board of Science Applications International Corporation and has acted as a senior advisor to the Brunswick Group, advising cybersecurity firms since his retirement.
Rogers holds a bachelor's degree in business from Auburn University, a master's in national security from the National Defense University, and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College.
