Imunon Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNN) announced plans to host an in-person and webcast research and development day on September 23, 2026, at the Sofitel New York, focusing on its IMNN-001 immunotherapy for ovarian cancer.
The event, beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET, will feature presentations from oncology experts, company management, and a patient previously treated with IMNN-001. Key topics include updates on the Phase 3 OVATION 3 trial, which evaluates IMNN-001 in women with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer, and a Phase 2 minimal residual disease clinical trial conducted in collaboration with Break Through Cancer and researchers at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
IMNN-001 is an IL-12 DNA plasmid designed using the company’s TheraPlas platform technology, which employs a nanoparticle delivery system to enable local production of the IL-12 protein. The therapy is administered intraperitoneally weekly at a dose of 100 mg/m².
The company previously reported results from the Phase 2 OVATION 2 Study, a 112-patient trial assessing IMNN-001 plus neoadjuvant and adjuvant chemotherapy compared to standard-of-care treatment alone in patients with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer. The R&D day will provide further clinical insights into these findings and ongoing trial progress.
