Imperial Brands plc confirmed that its senior independent director, Sue Clark, will be appointed an independent non-executive director of Hill & Smith plc, effective Oct. 2, 2026. Clark is slated to assume the senior independent director position at Hill & Smith on Jan. 1, 2027.
Hill & Smith, a provider of infrastructure and built‑environment solutions, announced the appointment in line with the UK Financial Conduct Authority Listing Rules (UKLR 6.4.9R). Imperial Brands indicated that Clark will retain her existing role at the tobacco group while taking on the additional directorship.
The company also stated that no amendments have been made to information previously disclosed under UKLR 6.4.8R (2) to (6).
