Hyperliquid Strategies Inc reported a net income of $305.5 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, according to a filing released on August 27. The company, listed on NASDAQ under the ticker PURR, attributed the result primarily to unrealized gains on its HYPE token portfolio.
Total assets stood at $2.06 billion as of June 30, with stockholders' equity of $1.87 billion and no debt outstanding. Cash and cash-like instruments totaled $149.9 million. The company held approximately 29.28 million HYPE tokens, valued at $1.90 billion at the fiscal year-end price of $65.04 per token.
Net unrealized gains on HYPE tokens contributed $709.9 million to the result, partially offset by a one-time loss of $169.2 million recognized at the completion of a business combination. Additional charges included $35.6 million in write-offs related to the acquisition of legacy Sonnet business operations and a $183.5 million deferred tax expense.
Operating revenue for the period totaled $12.2 million, comprising $9.5 million from staking revenue and validator commissions and $2.7 million in interest income. Operating expenses amounted to $14.0 million, covering selling, general, administrative, and research and development costs.
During the fiscal year, Hyperliquid Strategies raised $646.6 million through a committed equity facility at an average issue price of $8.70 per share. Of this, $773.4 million was deployed to acquire approximately 16.5 million HYPE tokens at an average cost of $46.77 per token. The company also repurchased about 5.8 million shares for $27.8 million at an average price of $4.80 per share.
