HSBC Holdings plc said on Monday it issued CNY 4 billion in fixed-rate senior notes under its Debt Issuance Programme, with proceeds supporting general corporate funding needs.
The London-headquartered bank placed two tranches: CNY 2.5 billion of 1.950% notes maturing in 2030 and CNY 1.5 billion of 2.300% notes maturing in 2034. The issuance was announced via a press release dated August 24, 2026 at 16:44 London time.
The Financial Conduct Authority approved the drawdown prospectus on the same day, which was subsequently submitted to the National Storage Mechanism for public inspection through the FCA’s database. HSBC reported total assets of $3,438 billion as of June 30, 2026, underscoring the scale of its balance sheet.
The bank operates in 56 countries and territories, with its headquarters in London.
