H-Power plc said its LC30 fuel cell generator has received CE certification from TÜV SÜD, clearing the way for commercial sales in the EU and UK.
The independent German certification body issued an Attestation of Conformity verifying that the 30 kW generator meets applicable EU health, safety, performance and environmental standards. The CE Mark is mandatory for products sold in the European Economic Area and is also recognized in the UK and other international markets.
The certification follows H-Power’s previously announced timeline and fulfills a key requirement under a 15-unit replenishment order placed by Speedy Hire plc for the Speedy Hydrogen Solutions joint venture. The order specifies delivery of LC30 units, which are part of H-Power’s fuel cell generator portfolio alongside a 200 kW model.
John Wilson, CEO of H-Power, said the certification validates the company’s technology and supports its commercialization roadmap. H-Power develops ammonia-based low-carbon hydrogen production and hydrogen-to-power solutions from its headquarters in Dunsfold, Surrey, UK.
