H.C. Wainwright has maintained a buy rating on Strive Inc (ASST) while reducing its price target to $36 from $37, citing the company’s expanding Bitcoin portfolio and improved liquidity position.
The investment firm highlighted Strive’s second-quarter Bitcoin acquisition of 6,236 BTC, bringing its year-to-date total to 12,237 BTC through June 30. The Bitcoin holdings generated a quarterly yield of 23.9% and a year-to-date yield of 37.7%, according to the report.
Strive’s financial position has strengthened, with liquidity increasing to over $200 million and all outstanding short-term and long-term debt retired. The company’s SATA preferred shares have recovered to near par value at approximately $99 and have delivered 44 consecutive business days of dividends.
The analyst’s outlook remains tied to legislative developments, particularly the upcoming Senate procedural cloture vote on the CLARITY Act scheduled for September 15. H.C. Wainwright designated Strive as its top crypto stock pick for the second half of 2026, with an anticipated acceleration period in the fourth quarter driven by increased Bitcoin accumulation and net asset value expansion.
