Grid Metals Corp. (TSXV: GRDM; OTCQB: MSMGF) said on Sept. 8, 2026 that mineralogical results from the Lucy South pegmatite at its Falcon West property in southeastern Manitoba confirm pollucite as the main cesium host mineral. The company said pollucite is the preferred mineral for cesium processing and that the results support an initial ore-sorting test program to evaluate production of a marketable cesium-bearing pollucite concentrate.

Grid has engaged SGS Canada to complete an initial program of more than 300 kg of ore sorting using X-ray transmission, or XRT, a method the company described as the preferred and well-proven approach for recovering pollucite from ore. The test work is intended to allow Grid to supply pollucite concentrate to potential end users for testing its amenability to cesium chemical production.

The company highlighted pollucite as the dominant cesium-bearing mineral in the Lucy South pegmatite, expected strong liberation performance from planned XRT tests based on mineralogical and grain-size data, and a strong positive correlation between Cs2O grade and pollucite content in the Lucy South pollucite zone. It cited a linear regression correlation coefficient of 0.98, with 30% Cs2O equating to 80% pollucite. Pollucite was also identified in the Lucy North pegmatite. Mineralogical results were based on 28 drill core samples from the Artdon and Lucy pegmatites, analyzed using QEMSCAN and MLAS semi-quantitative methods at two laboratories over 12 months. Twenty-four samples were from Lucy South: 15 from the pollucite zone, one each from the spodumene, lepidolite, aplite and wall zones, and five from the external contact zone, which the company said features intense biotite alteration and enhanced cesium contents. Three samples were from Lucy North and one from Artdon.

The company said pollucite was by far the dominant cesium-bearing phase in the pollucite zone, with muscovite and, to a lesser extent, biotite as the only other cesium-bearing phases identified. Samples from the adjacent spodumene, wall, aplite and lepidolite zones did not carry significant quantities of pollucite, while some biotite-rich contact-zone samples locally contained pollucite.

Pollucite can contain more than 30% cesium oxide and is described as the mineral of choice for extracting cesium for value-added cesium chemicals. An initial composite sample of more than 300 kg is being shipped to SGS Canada in Lakefield, Ontario, for grinding, blending and assay. Three size fractions will be produced and then shipped to the Tomra ore sorting test facility in Germany to determine Cs2O recoveries and concentrate grades for each fraction. Additional mineral concentration test work is being considered for the fall, and a microprobe study to assess the chemistry and chemical variability of pollucite in the concentrates is also under consideration.

Grid also announced two investor relations agreements. Effective Sept. 8, 2026, the company entered into a consulting agreement with Grignan Holdings Ltd., doing business as Peterson Capital, to provide investor relations services in compliance with TSX Venture Exchange policies and applicable legislation. Peterson Capital, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is described as one of Canada's leading capital markets advisory and communications firms, specializing in connecting high-growth companies with retail investment advisors in Canada and family offices and funds in Europe. Neither Peterson Capital nor its principals currently own, directly or indirectly, any securities of Grid, but may purchase securities from time to time for investment purposes, and the firm is at arm's length from the company.

Under the Peterson agreement, Peterson Capital will assist with investor outreach and marketing initiatives, including introductions to potential investor groups and participation in the firm's 2027 Canadian conference event and virtual meetings. It will also assist with corporate presentation and other marketing materials and disseminate company-approved information to increase public awareness in accordance with applicable securities regulations. The agreement has a 12-month term, consultant fees of CDN$100,000, with CDN$65,000 payable up front and CDN$35,000 after six months from available cash reserves, and is subject to TSXV approval.

Grid also entered into an agreement with Triomphe Holdings Ltd., doing business as Capital Analytica, an arm's-length service provider, to provide marketing and social media services in accordance with TSXV policies and applicable securities laws.
