The Geneva Cantonal Bank (BCGE) reported a 26% increase in first-half net profit to CHF 118.6 million, driven by broad-based growth across all business segments.
Operating profit rose 24% to CHF 138.3 million, while total revenue increased 12% to CHF 310.5 million, reflecting strong business momentum. The bank attributed the gains to market share gains in all divisions.
Net interest income, the primary revenue driver, climbed 10% to CHF 181 million, while commission and service income rose 11% to CHF 85 million. Trading income increased by CHF 23 million, matching the overall growth pace.
On the balance sheet, assets under management grew 3.7% to CHF 41.9 billion, while customer loans rose 2.1% to CHF 21.8 billion. The bank expects full-year 2026 results to surpass 2025 performance.
