Geberit reported first-half 2026 net sales rose 2.8% to 1.71 billion Swiss francs, with a 5.9% organic increase excluding 53 million francs of negative currency effects. Organic growth accelerated to 6.6% in the second quarter from 3.4% in the first, driven by volume growth and positive pricing across all three product segments and most regions.
The Swiss sanitary-technology group cited improved market conditions in Europe and robust demand globally as key drivers. Direct material costs increased, but efficient production and logistics helped offset the pressure, supporting margins. EBITDA grew 3.0% to 529 million francs, maintaining a 30.9% margin versus the prior-year period. Net profit rose 7.4% to 364 million francs, exceeding analyst expectations.
For the full year, Geberit reaffirmed guidance of 5-6% local-currency net sales growth and an EBITDA margin "around last year's level," following 29.4% in 2025. Shares surged 8% to 567.60 francs in early trading, the highest level since March 11.
