Fortinet executives highlighted the company’s emphasis on Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and hardware sales as key growth drivers during a presentation at the Rosenblatt Securities Technology Summit on Monday.
The cybersecurity provider’s leadership reiterated its commitment to expanding SASE offerings, which integrate network security and wide-area networking capabilities into a cloud-delivered service. Fortinet’s hardware portfolio, including firewalls and other security appliances, remains a cornerstone of its revenue strategy, executives noted, as enterprises prioritize both performance and scalability in their security infrastructure.
Analysts at Rosenblatt Securities, a boutique investment bank, engaged Fortinet’s management on the company’s long-term positioning in the cybersecurity market. The discussion underscored Fortinet’s confidence in its ability to capture market share amid evolving enterprise security needs, particularly as hybrid work models and cloud adoption accelerate.
Fortinet did not disclose specific financial projections or updated guidance during the summit. However, the company has previously emphasized its focus on recurring revenue streams, including subscription-based services tied to SASE and managed security offerings. Hardware sales, while subject to cyclical demand, continue to provide a stable revenue base, executives said.
The cybersecurity sector remains highly competitive, with rivals such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Check Point also vying for enterprise security spending. Fortinet’s differentiation lies in its integrated approach, combining hardware with SASE solutions to address both on-premises and cloud-based security requirements.
Fortinet’s shares were last trading 0.4% higher at $68.90 in premarket activity following the summit, reflecting modest investor interest in the company’s strategic outlook.
