Foresight Solar Fund Limited has appointed Antonia Burgess as an independent non-executive director, effective September 8, 2026.
Burgess will serve on the fund's Audit and Risk, Management Engagement, Nomination and Remuneration Committees. She has more than 30 years of experience in legal and financial services, is a qualified English solicitor and has acted as a Jersey-based independent non-executive director for fund managers and investment companies.
She previously worked for an international law firm in London before relocating to Jersey. Burgess currently serves on the board of Phoenix Spree Deutschland Limited, a Jersey-incorporated investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange, where she is senior independent director and chairs the risk and remuneration committees.
Tony Roper, chair of Foresight Solar, said the appointment adds risk-management skills and re-establishes a Jersey-based majority of directors, reflecting the fund's governance arrangements. Foresight Solar invests in solar and battery storage assets.
