Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) said it regained compliance with the Nasdaq Capital Market's equity standard as of July 31, 2026, after taking steps through July and August to reduce several line items on its balance sheet.
The company posted total stockholders' equity of $1.412 million as of June 30, 2026, below the exchange's $2.5 million minimum under Listing Rule 5550(b)(1). To close the gap, Faraday Future reduced notes payable by approximately $10 million based on preliminary fair valuation, cut its derivative call option liability by roughly $5.8 million, and decreased accounts payable and accrued liabilities by about $15.3 million. Employee-related liabilities accounted for $13.5 million of the accounts-payable decline, while $2.5 million came from cleanup of legacy vendor accounts.
Nasdaq will continue to monitor the company's ongoing compliance, the filing said.
On the operating side, Faraday Future said vehicle deliveries began in February 2026. Cumulative sales and shipments reached 552 units by the end of August, and the company reported positive product gross margin. It set a full-year volume target of 2,000 units.
Final financial results for the third quarter remain subject to auditor review and will be disclosed in a Form 10-Q. The quarter's results are expected to reflect operating losses, asset depreciation, fair valuation of financial instruments, legal contingency assessments and other ordinary-course expenses.
