Expion Energy, formerly known as Expion360 Inc., has appointed Marc W. Jarvis to its board of directors, effective August 28, 2026. The appointment follows the company’s recent expansion into oil and gas alongside its core lithium iron phosphate battery operations for recreational vehicles, marine applications, and industrial uses. Headquartered in Redmond, Oregon, Expion Energy has established a presence in eastern Louisiana’s oil and gas sector.
Jarvis brings more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Deep Tuscaloosa assets in Louisiana. His background includes structuring and closing transactions totaling over $2.5 billion in acquisitions and divestitures. Currently a partner at Cynergy Advisors, a consulting firm specializing in transaction and investment banking for oil and gas clients since 2009, Jarvis previously served as executive vice president of exploration and production at Falcon V, LLC from 2016 to 2019.
Before joining Falcon V, Jarvis held senior roles at Summit Discovery Resources LLC, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, where he managed operations across an asset base valued at over $1.8 billion, encompassing 730,000 gross acres. He holds bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in petroleum engineering technology from Oklahoma State University.
Expion Energy has also named Kevin Sellers as Chief Executive Officer and Robert Winspear as Chief Financial Officer in recent executive appointments.
