Eurowings, the low-cost airline unit of Lufthansa Group, will restart direct flights to Dubai from Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne/Bonn on Oct. 25, ending an eight-month suspension triggered by regional conflict.
The carrier cited the resumption of service as part of its winter schedule, following the disruption caused by the late-February 2026 joint U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran and subsequent retaliatory actions that included missile strikes on targets in the United Arab Emirates. Eurowings had suspended all Dubai-bound flights in the aftermath of the escalation.
From Dec. 1, passengers on Dubai routes will have access to the airline’s new Premium Business seating configuration, featuring four seats per row in a 2-2 layout. The airline plans to roll out the updated cabin across its entire fleet of eight Airbus A320neo aircraft, extending the offering to select routes to London, Mallorca and Málaga.
