Escalade Inc. (NASDAQ: ESCA) said it has acquired ASL Solutions, a manufacturer of insulated dog and cat houses and accessories, for terms not disclosed.
The transaction expands Escalade’s manufacturing footprint and introduces rotational molding capabilities to its operations. ASL Solutions, founded in 2000 by Howard Atkison and Bob Guinn, is based in Ste. Marie, Illinois. Its product portfolio includes insulated houses under the Dog Palace, CRB Palace, RB Palace and DP Hunter brands.
Escalade, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, plans to integrate ASL Solutions into its US Weight Group, which oversees fitness and safety products. Managing Director Allison McDonald will oversee the unit. The US Weight Group’s existing brands include Goalrilla basketball systems, STIGA table tennis tables, Bear Archery, Brunswick Billiards, Accudart, Onix pickleball, Lifeline fitness gear and RAVE Sports water recreation products.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed in the announcement.
