Energy Transfer LP’s stock climbed to a 52-week high of $21.12 on Tuesday, extending a year-to-date gain of 34% as the pipeline operator reported adjusted earnings that exceeded analyst forecasts.
The company’s adjusted earnings per share for the second quarter of 2026 reached $0.59, surpassing the $0.37 estimate compiled by TD Cowen. Adjusted EBITDA rose 30.8% year-over-year to approximately $5.1 billion, driven by stronger performance in the Marketing segment. Energy Transfer also raised its full-year EBITDA guidance, citing continued operational momentum.
The stock was last quoted at $21.15, up 1.40%, after closing at $21.05 on Monday. Over the past 12 months, shares have gained 20.69%, contributing to a dividend yield of 6.5%. The company has increased its dividend annually for four consecutive years and maintained payouts for 21 straight years.
TD Cowen lifted its price target on Energy Transfer to $25 from $24, reflecting the improved earnings outlook. The company’s Green Chile Project pipeline in New Mexico, intended to supply an Oracle Corp. data center, remains on track for a revised start date of February 1, 2027, following a delay from the original August 2026 target.
