Einride AB introduced Flip AI, an artificial intelligence platform designed to automate operational workflows for electric fleets, shippers and charging infrastructure operators. The platform integrates with a fleet’s digital ecosystem to generate real-time operational overviews and execute automated actions such as restarting malfunctioning chargers, opening service tickets with suppliers using diagnostic data, and notifying managers of anticipated delays.
Flip AI was developed by Flipturn, a charging and energy management software company acquired by Einride in July 2026. The launch marks Einride’s first product release since the acquisition and expands the company’s strategy to commercialize its technology as standalone software solutions for the broader market.
Einride, founded in Stockholm in 2016, specializes in freight transport technology with a focus on autonomous and electric operations. The company serves clients across North America, Europe and the Middle East through a Freight-Capacity-as-a-Service model and proprietary software platform.
Roozbeh Charli, Chief Executive Officer of Einride, said the platform extends capabilities from Einride’s Saga AI platform to external operators. Katie Siegel, CEO of Flipturn, noted that existing AI systems in the sector primarily function as data analysis tools rather than addressing physical operational challenges.
Flip AI is currently available for deployment across all electric fleets and charging operations.
