Duos Technologies Group’s subsidiary, Duos Edge AI, has signed a non-binding term sheet to acquire land for data center development in Texas and Georgia.
The preliminary agreement, disclosed on Monday, outlines plans to establish facilities in high-demand regions, aligning with broader industry trends favoring decentralized data infrastructure. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction remains subject to due diligence and final agreements.
Duos Edge AI, focused on AI-driven data solutions, has not specified a timeline for completion. The company’s expansion strategy reflects growing demand for low-latency, high-capacity data centers amid the rise of generative AI and cloud computing.
Analysts note that Texas and Georgia are among the top U.S. markets for data center growth due to favorable regulatory environments, energy costs, and infrastructure availability. The move follows Duos Technologies’ recent focus on scaling its AI and edge computing capabilities.
A spokesperson for Duos Edge AI declined to comment beyond the initial disclosure.
