The DGAI token of decentralized AI network DGrid surged approximately 93% in its first 24 hours of trading, reaching around $0.73 per token on Tuesday. According to CoinGecko data, the token’s market capitalization expanded to roughly $110 million, with daily trading volume exceeding $165 million.
The token launch accompanies the live deployment of DGrid’s decentralized AI inference network, which connects users and developers to distributed nodes for processing AI requests. The platform uses DGAI for payments, staking, and node operator rewards. A "Proof of Quality" mechanism evaluates results from distributed nodes, while operators stake DGAI to earn rewards or face penalties for underperformance or misconduct.
In parallel, DGrid reported selling over 140 DClaw Boxes within hours at $1,580 each, generating more than $221,000 in sales. These physical devices run the DClaw personal AI agent, enabling users to access AI models through a decentralized network of independently operated nodes rather than a single centralized provider.
