Dave & Buster’s Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAY) announced a sweeping executive leadership overhaul, including the appointment of a new chief executive officer and several senior hires and promotions across key roles.
Darin Harper has been named CEO, taking over from interim leadership. Amanda Busby joined the company this month as chief operations officer, bringing prior experience leading operations for more than 450 restaurants across nearly 60 airports in North America at SSP America. Busby previously spent 19 years at Red Robin, where she served as vice president of operations overseeing 230 restaurants.
Rachel Morgan was promoted to chief legal and administrative officer and corporate secretary, expanding her responsibilities to include oversight of legal and human resources functions. She previously served as executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Nexstar Media Group.
Aldo Rosales was promoted to chief strategy and revenue management officer. His background includes roles as global head of strategy and operations at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, and associate partner at McKinsey & Co.
Jeremy Tucker was appointed chief marketing officer, having held the same position at AutoNation and Planet Fitness. Kevin Fish joins as chief technology and digital officer, bringing senior leadership experience from Wingstop and Pizza Hut. Derek Sample was named chief accounting officer, previously serving in the same role at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
The Dallas-based company operates 250 locations across North America under two brands. Its Dave & Buster’s brand includes 184 stores across 43 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada, while the Main Event brand operates 66 stores in 24 states.
