CrowdStrike and CLEAR announced a partnership integrating CLEAR’s identity verification platform with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, enabling real-time biometric checks to strengthen security responses.
The integration connects CLEAR’s people-based verification system with CrowdStrike’s threat detection capabilities. When the Falcon platform identifies potential security risks, it triggers CLEAR to verify the individual’s identity using biometrics and government-issued identification validated against official sources. The verification result is then incorporated into CrowdStrike’s decision-making process to allow, investigate, or block activities.
The collaboration supports CrowdStrike resources including Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Charlotte Agentic SOAR, with the integration already available to existing customers of both platforms. CLEAR, which operates secure identity platforms in airports, stadiums, and digital environments, claims more than 43 million members globally.
Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike’s Chief Business Officer, stated that identity is central to how organizations operate and how adversaries target them, adding that combining CrowdStrike and CLEAR provides clients with a new method to apply high-confidence, people-based verification within their security strategies.
Brett Romanoff, Executive Vice President at CLEAR, highlighted that the company has spent over 16 years developing technology focused on establishing trust in individuals rather than relying solely on credentials, accounts, or devices.
CrowdStrike’s shares closed at $218.40 on August 28, down $9.56, or 4.19%, following a broader market decline. After-hours trading showed a further slight decline to $217.75, down $0.65, or 0.30%, as of 4:59 p.m. ET.
