Cronos Group Inc. (CRON) shares advanced to a 52-week high of $3.44 on Monday, the strongest level since August 2025, after the cannabis company reported second-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations.
The Toronto-based firm closed at $3.41 on Aug. 24, up 3.02% on the day, while after-hours trading showed an additional gain of 2.35% to $3.49 at 13:16 UTC. Year-to-date, CRON has gained 25.86%, while its trailing 12-month return stands at 31.08%.
Cronos reported Q2 revenue of $53 million, surpassing the $44.73 million consensus estimate compiled by InvestingPro. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.09, well above the $0.01 forecast. Gross profit reached a record $28.5 million, while adjusted EBITDA rose to $13.1 million. Operating cash flow for the quarter totaled $24 million, and the company held $827 million in cash, equivalents and investments as of June 30.
During the quarter, Cronos repurchased $60 million of its own shares, reducing outstanding equity while signaling confidence in its financial position. The company operates cannabis markets in Canada, Israel and select international jurisdictions.
