CQS New City High Yield Fund Limited announced the issuance of 650,000 new ordinary shares without nominal value, priced at 50.5 pence each. The shares will be issued for cash on Thursday through the company’s block listing mechanism.
Following the issuance, the fund’s total issued share capital will reach 715,001,858 ordinary shares, with no shares held in treasury. The total number of voting rights will also rise to 715,001,858, effective from Thursday.
The updated voting rights figure can be used by shareholders to determine whether they must notify their interest in the company under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. The fund is managed by Manulife CQS Investment Management, with BNP Paribas S.A., Jersey Branch serving as company secretary and administrator. Singer Capital Markets LLP acted as broker for the issuance.
