CQS New City High Yield Fund Limited announced the issuance of 500,000 new ordinary shares at 50.5 pence each, raising approximately £252,500 for the fund.
The shares were issued from the company’s blocklisting facility for cash, with the transaction agreed upon on August 21, 2026. Settlement is scheduled for Monday, following which the fund’s total issued share capital will rise to 714,351,858 ordinary shares, all held by investors with no treasury shares outstanding.
Manulife | CQS Investment Management serves as the fund’s investment manager, while BNP Paribas S.A., Jersey Branch acts as company secretary and administrator. Singer Capital Markets LLP has been appointed as the broker for the issuance.
The increase in issued capital will adjust the total number of voting rights in the fund, which shareholders may use to determine disclosure obligations under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
