CQS New City High Yield Fund Limited announced the issuance of 3.5 million ordinary shares at a price of 50.5 pence per share. The shares will be issued for cash from the fund's blocklisting facility on the Tuesday following the announcement.
After the transaction, the fund's total issued share capital will stand at 723,251,858 ordinary shares, all carrying voting rights and with no shares held in treasury.
The issuance was administered by BNP Paribas S.A., Jersey Branch, while Singer Capital Markets LLP acted as the broker for the placement.
Under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the total issued share capital figure serves as the denominator for shareholders to calculate any required notifications of interest or changes in interest.
