Colombia’s benchmark COLCAP index fell 0.37% at Thursday’s close, dragged lower by declines in the financials, investment and public services sectors.
The index slipped to 15,540.00 points after trading hours, reflecting broad weakness across key segments. Mineros SA bucked the trend, rising 2.01% to 17,260.00, while Grupo Argos SA added 0.46% to 21,900.00, nearing a 52-week high. Promigas also edged up 0.31% to 6,400.00 in late trade.
On the downside, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia dropped 3.36% to 15,540.00, while Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA fell 2.21% to 20,320.00. ETB declined 2.07% to 71.00.
U.S. coffee futures for December delivery rose 0.03% to $328.30, while cocoa futures fell 0.32% to $6,012.00. December gold futures gained 0.66% to $4,575.15 per troy ounce.
The Colombian peso strengthened 0.03% against the U.S. dollar to 3,078.24, while the Brazilian real rose 0.03% to 592.44. The U.S. Dollar Index futures were up 0.05% at 98.79.
