Clavister AB, a Swedish provider of mission‑critical cybersecurity solutions, announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Akkodis Group Nordics to deepen collaboration on tactical communications. The agreement sets a framework for integrating Clavister's Tactical Core Network System (TCNS) software with Akkodis' ruggedised Tactical Comms Node (ATCN) hardware platform.
The joint offering aims to deliver a European‑built communications platform that provides secure, resilient and interoperable connectivity for demanding operational environments. Akkodis has supplied the ATCN platform, also known as the TKN hardware, to the Norwegian Armed Forces since 2016 and is currently delivering it in serial production to the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA). In the first quarter of 2026, Clavister secured a contract from NDMA to provide TCNS, the next‑generation software intended to run on ATCN and compatible tactical hardware.
Clavister's CEO John Vestberg said the MoU moves the existing Norwegian collaboration to a broader phase, combining software and hardware to create a strong European alternative built around security, interoperability and long‑term evolution. Per Kristian Egseth, senior vice‑president at Akkodis Nordics, highlighted the need for integrated hardware, software and system integration to support reliable communications across Europe.
Both parties will also explore joint development of successor and adjacent communications platforms, leveraging their complementary expertise. Clavister contributes standards‑based networking software that supports NATO Federated Mission Networking, while Akkodis offers the proven ATCN hardware, system integration, delivery and lifecycle support.
Clavister, listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, has a two‑decade history protecting mission‑critical customers in the public sector, energy, telecom and defence. Akkodis, part of the Adecco Group and headquartered in Switzerland, employs about 40,000 engineers across more than 30 countries and maintains a strong presence in the Nordics with a focus on defence, electrification and AI.
