Swiss uninterruptible power supply (UPS) specialist Centiel reported a 34% year-over-year revenue increase to CHF 25.2 million in the first half of 2026, driven by broad-based demand across all customer segments and successful business expansion.
The company’s adjusted operating profit (EBIT) surged 78% to CHF 5.25 million, while the EBIT margin expanded by 4.8 percentage points to 20.9%. Net profit more than doubled to CHF 4.6 million, excluding one-time costs totaling CHF 2.8 million related to the merger with HT5 and the April IPO.
Centiel projects full-year 2026 revenue of approximately CHF 65 million, with an EBIT margin exceeding 20%, implying more than a doubling of sales compared with the first half. The outlook reflects confidence in its U.S. expansion strategy, supported by a CHF 8.7 million ($8.7 million) framework contract with Neo Critical Power, announced in July. The agreement is expected to generate mid-double-digit million CHF in revenue this year, with further growth anticipated in subsequent years.
The Tessin-based company completed its merger with HT5 in mid-April, securing its listing on the Swiss stock exchange. HT5 was the surviving entity following the bankruptcy of dairy processor Hochdorf.
