Capital Gearing Trust P.l.c. disposed of 350,000 ordinary treasury shares on Tuesday at a price of 527p per share, according to a filing on the London Stock Exchange.
Each treasury share carries a nominal value of 2.5p and retains the same rights as outstanding ordinary shares. The disposal reduces the company’s treasury share balance to 108,985,550 shares, while total ordinary shares in circulation stand at 265,802,630.
The transaction does not alter the total voting rights, which remain at 156,817,080 shares. Shareholders may use this figure to assess whether they need to notify their interest under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
