Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. held its annual shareholder meeting on a Monday in Piraeus, Greece. Shareholders re-elected seven directors to serve until the 2027 annual meeting; longtime board member Gurpal Grewal retired after serving since 2017, and Janet DiFiore was elected to fill the vacancy.
The meeting also ratified the appointment of Deloitte Certified Public Accountants S.A. as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026. Janet DiFiore brings four decades of legal experience, having served as an assistant district attorney, Westchester County Court judge, New York State Supreme Court justice, Westchester County District Attorney, president of the New York State District Attorneys Association, chair of the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics, and chief judge of the New York Court of Appeals before retiring from government service in 2022.
Capital Clean Energy Carriers operates an international shipping fleet of 21 vessels, comprising 15 liquefied natural gas carriers, one Neo-Panamax container vessel, two dual-fuel medium gas carriers and three Handy Liquefied CO2 Multi-Gas Carriers.
