Callan Power, a subsidiary of diversified infrastructure firm Callan JMB, has appointed Andy Weigman as Senior Vice President of Land and Acquisitions. The move is contingent on the completion of an asset acquisition from Reger Oil, which involves a non-operated working interest position in the Williston Basin spanning North Dakota and Montana.
Weigman brings 14 years of Williston Basin experience to the role, including a nine-year tenure at Northern Oil and Gas where he served as Asset Manager. His responsibilities included managing assets, sourcing acquisitions, and leading acquisition due diligence. Prior to joining Callan Power, he co-founded two non-operated oil and gas investment funds, serving as Chief Operating Officer and identifying acquisition opportunities across more than 900 wells.
Mike Reger, President of Callan Power and a long-time colleague of Weigman, highlighted the appointment’s strategic significance. “I have worked with Andy for close to a decade, and there is no one better to help build this business,” Reger stated. The Williston Basin acquisition will operate under a non-operated working interest model, where Callan Power acquires small stakes in wells operated by others, contributing proportionate capital while receiving proportional production and cash flow.
