CACI International Inc. has opened a 61,000-square-foot defense electronics manufacturing facility in the Greater Rochester, New York area, marking a more than 300% expansion of the company’s domestic production footprint.
The new site will focus on the development, testing, assembly, and delivery of electronic warfare technologies, with initial operations centered on the Terrestrial Layer System Brigade Combat Team (TLS BCT) Manpack program for the U.S. Army. The facility will handle production, delivery, training, customer acceptance testing, and onsite storage for the program, while also providing capacity for future software-defined electronic warfare capabilities.
CACI employs 27,000 people globally and operates as a technology-focused national security company. The company is listed on the NYSE under ticker CACI and is included in the Fortune 500, the Russell 1000 Index, and the S&P MidCap 400 Index.
The Rochester location was selected for its skilled workforce and existing manufacturing ecosystem, which supports dozens of small business suppliers across Upstate New York. The facility’s expansion aligns with CACI’s long-term strategy to enhance domestic production of critical defense electronics amid rising demand for advanced military technologies.
John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer, said the ribbon-cutting event underscores the company’s commitment to the region and its ability to deliver technologies required for modern operational environments.
