Bunge Ltd. has priced a $600 million senior notes offering maturing in 2031, the company said on Monday.
The terms of the offering, including coupon rate and yield, were not disclosed in the announcement. The notes are senior unsecured obligations of Bunge and rank pari passu with the company’s other senior unsecured debt.
Proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of debt and funding working capital, Bunge stated. The agribusiness company did not specify whether the issuance is part of a broader refinancing strategy or strategic investment plan.
Bunge, a global leader in oilseed processing, grain trading and food ingredient supply, has not provided additional details on investor demand or pricing benchmarks at the time of announcement. The notes are expected to be issued in the coming days, subject to customary closing conditions.
The company’s senior unsecured debt is rated BBB by S&P Global Ratings and Baa2 by Moody’s Investors Service, reflecting a stable outlook from both agencies. Bunge’s last reported long-term debt stood at approximately $4.5 billion as of its most recent quarterly filings.
