Brazil’s soybean exports are projected at 10.25 million tons for August, down from an earlier estimate but still exceeding 10 million tons, the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC) said on Tuesday.
The revised figure represents a reduction of roughly 300,000 tons from ANEC’s prior projection. Despite the cut, August shipments are expected to rise 2.14 million tons year-over-year.
Corn export volumes for the month were also adjusted downward to 5.45 million tons from a prior estimate of 5.63 million tons. This marks a decline of 1.9 million tons compared with the same month last year.
Soymeal shipments, however, remained largely unchanged at 2.50 million tons, with annual growth of nearly 500,000 tons.
