Bravura Solutions Ltd, which trades on the AIM market under ticker BVS, has appointed Ian Whiting as a non-executive director effective immediately.
Whiting, 66, is a Certified Practising Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He previously managed a portfolio of software businesses across multiple jurisdictions for Constellation Software Inc. and currently serves as a director at Eroad Limited.
Australian due diligence enquiries regarding Whiting are ongoing, though no issues have been identified to date that would prevent him from serving as a director.
The appointment coincides with the departure of two independent non-executive directors. Sarah Adam-Gedge, who also chairs the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and Charles Crouchman will retire at the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting on November 3. Both originally joined the board in September 2023.
Russell Baskerville, chair of Bravura, said Adam-Gedge "has made an outstanding contribution to Bravura during a period of significant renewal and transformation." He described Crouchman as "an invaluable contributor to the Board through his deep product, technology and engineering expertise."
Baskerville added that the board "is actively considering future composition requirements, including diversity objectives and the skills needed to support Bravura's strategy and long-term growth."
