BP p.l.c. has set the sterling conversion rate for its second-quarter 2026 dividend at 6.4059 pence per ordinary share. The company previously announced a dividend of $0.0866 per ordinary share, with American Depositary Shares holders receiving $0.5196 per ADS in U.S. dollars.
The conversion was calculated using an exchange rate of £1 = $1.35187, based on an average of market rates over three dealing days between September 2 and September 4. BP's board announced the interim dividend on August 4, with the register date set for August 14 and payment due Thursday.
The board decided not to offer a scrip dividend alternative for the second-quarter 2026 dividend. Dividend reinvestment plans have been made available to ordinary shareholders and ADS holders, subject to certain exceptions, to receive additional BP shares.
