AttoTude Inc. has reduced its application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design cycles by more than half, achieving first-pass silicon success across advanced radio frequency, sub-terahertz and terahertz tape-outs.
The company, which develops ASICs over Dielectric interconnect technology for artificial intelligence and data center applications, now completes designs in under six weeks using Keysight Technologies Inc.’s Advanced Design System (ADS) platform. The software supports integrated circuits with per-lane data rates of 200G, 400G and 800G, handling signaling frequencies from 100 GHz to 3 THz, where on-chip interconnects function as waveguides.
AttoTude expanded its use of Keysight’s ADS to manage its full IC design workflow, incorporating design data management for version control and enabling shared system access for engineers working on sub-THz and THz subsystems with full traceability at each stage. The platform also supports system-level scenario planning with simulation-to-measurement correlation.

The announcement follows projections that global semiconductor revenue will exceed $1.3 trillion by 2026, with AI semiconductors expected to account for 30% of the market.
