Asia Broadband Inc. (OTC: AABB) has voluntarily dismissed a civil lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California without prejudice, the company announced on Wednesday.
The dismissal, filed in the Central District of California, allows legal counsel to complete an evaluation of trading data collected during the initial pleading phase. The review aims to determine whether additional legal action is warranted based on the findings, the company stated. Dismissing the case without prejudice preserves Asia Broadband’s ability to pursue related proceedings at a later stage if necessary.
Chris Torres, President and CEO of Asia Broadband, noted that the move provides flexibility to refine the company’s legal strategy. "The voluntary dismissal without prejudice allows our legal team to re-evaluate the matter and optimize our overall legal strategy," Torres said in a statement.
Asia Broadband continues to operate its precious metals production and processing facilities in Mexico, maintain physical holdings of gold and silver, and develop its digital assets business segment, which includes gold- and silver-backed cryptocurrencies.
