Cathie Wood's ARK Investment Management disclosed a series of equity trades across its exchange-traded funds on Wednesday, reflecting a strategic shift in portfolio positioning.
The largest transaction involved the sale of 501,466 shares of Roblox Corp (NYSE:RBLX) through the flagship ARKK ETF, valued at $18.89 million. The move continued a multi-day reduction in the company's exposure within ARK's portfolios.
ARK simultaneously initiated new positions in several technology-focused companies. The ARKK, ARKQ and ARKW ETFs collectively purchased 55,548 shares of Broadcom Inc (NASDAQ:AVGO) for $21.11 million, making it the largest single buy of the day. Cloudflare Inc (NYSE:NET) received 60,805 shares across ARKK, ARKW and ARKF ETFs for $18.32 million, while Cerebras Systems Inc (CBRS) was added in a $17.33 million purchase of 78,756 shares.
Additional purchases included 34,370 shares of Rocket Lab Corp (NASDAQ:RKLB) for $2.72 million and 18,499 shares of Ionis Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:IONS) for $1.10 million. Securitize Corp (SECZ) received a smaller allocation of 16,314 shares valued at $96,089.
On the sell side, ARK reduced its position in 10X Genomics Inc (NASDAQ:TXG) by 203,242 shares across ARKK and ARKG ETFs for $11.31 million, continuing a recent trend of trimming biotech holdings. CareDx Inc (NASDAQ:CDNA) saw a smaller reduction of 27,486 shares for $1.27 million.
