ANTA Sports Products Ltd’s shares surged 7.1% to HK$77 on Wednesday after the company reported a record first-half revenue increase and a sharp rise in net profit.
The sportswear group posted revenue of RMB 43.51 billion for the six months ended June 30, up 12.9% from the same period last year. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 9.487 billion, a 34.9% increase year-over-year. Gross margin expanded to 63.9%, up 0.5 percentage points, while operating profit margin climbed to 27%, the highest level in seven years.
Free cash flow totaled RMB 11.63 billion, and net cash stood at RMB 39.1 billion. Inventory turnover improved, with turnover days decreasing by six days compared to the prior year. The interim dividend was raised by 10.22% to HKD 1.51 per share, payable on September 22.
