The transaction occurred at share prices ranging from $10.10 to $10.48, with the stock last trading at $10.18. Amprius shares have declined 58% from their 52-week high of $24.23, reflecting broader market pressures in the energy storage sector.
Following the sale, Ionel retains 771,629 ordinary shares, including 525,176 restricted stock units. The disposal comes as Amprius reports improving operational metrics despite the stock's decline.
The company reported second-quarter revenue of $34.02 million, exceeding Wall Street expectations of $29.29 million and rising 19% quarter-over-quarter. Adjusted earnings per share remained negative at $0.02, in line with projections. Amprius also raised its full-year revenue guidance to at least $140 million, up from the prior estimate of $130 million, and increased its gross margin projection to at least 28%. The company ended the quarter with $74.5 million in cash and no debt.
