Advanced Micro Devices rose 4.67% on Tuesday, leading gains among mega-cap stocks as Raymond James upgraded its rating on expectations for AI server demand. Dell advanced 3.48%, while SpaceX and Netflix each climbed more than 2.5%.
Moderna led large-cap movers with a 13.54% gain after Wolfe Research upgraded the biotech’s stock following positive trial results. Bloom Energy rose 6.06% amid reports of a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission subpoena to banks regarding situational awareness. Robinhood Markets gained 7.32%, and Super Micro Computer advanced 8.91%.
Among mid-caps, Generate Biomedicines surged 12.44% after reporting progress in its drug development pipeline. AltC Acquisition climbed 12.17%, and Rumble gained 12.07%. Twist Bioscience rose 9.13%.
Small-cap stocks also posted strong gains, with Richtech Robotics up 18.52% and Standard Nuclear gaining 18.01%. Inhibrx Biosciences advanced 15.95%, and Cartesian Growth III rose 13.7%.
