Allianz Commercial named Emma Woolley president of global specialty and UK region, effective no later than February 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
Woolley will oversee Allianz Commercial’s specialty business lines worldwide and operations in the UK, while joining the board of management of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE. She will report directly to Thomas Lillelund, CEO of Allianz Commercial.
The appointment underscores Allianz Commercial’s focus on expanding its specialty insurance portfolio across global markets. Woolley will collaborate with regional presidents, chief underwriting officer Vanessa Maxwell Neverton, and chief distribution officer Jeremy Sharpe to drive growth in specialty segments.
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE operates as a core commercial insurance market within Allianz Commercial, which serves as a reinsurer and underwriter for corporate and specialty risks.
