Alcon Inc. has priced a EUR 500 million senior notes offering maturing in 2033, the company said on Tuesday. The 3.875% notes will be issued by Alcon Finance Corporation, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary, and will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by Alcon Inc. on a senior basis.
The notes will seek admission to the official list of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and trading on the Euro MTF market. Settlement is scheduled for September 2, 2026, pending customary closing conditions.
Proceeds from the offering will be allocated to general corporate purposes, which may include refinancing, in whole or in part, existing group debt obligations. The company did not disclose specific debt targets or a refinancing schedule.
Alcon operates as a global leader in eye care, offering surgical and vision care products across more than 140 countries. The company serves over 260 million patients annually and employs more than 25,000 associates worldwide.
The offering follows Alcon’s recent financial strategy adjustments amid broader market conditions. The company’s senior management has not provided additional details on the timing or scope of potential debt refinancing activities related to the proceeds.
