Akkodis, a global digital engineering consultancy and unit of the Adecco Group, has appointed Giles Guidicelli as managing director (Geschäftsführer) of Akkodis Germany and Austria, effective September 1, 2026.
Guidicelli joined the company's management in May 2026 as Group SVP Akkodis Germany, working alongside co-managing director Thomas Klukas. Over that period he deepened relationships with clients and business partners ahead of assuming full operational responsibility for the German and Austrian markets.
Guidicelli brings more than 25 years of leadership experience, including senior roles at Capgemini Engineering before joining Akkodis. Klukas will move to a global role as Group SVP for Strategic Execution within the Akkodis organization, remaining closely connected to the German and Austrian business.
Under Guidicelli, Akkodis plans to expand its existing strengths with a stronger focus on technological capabilities in artificial intelligence, data, cloud, edge computing and software engineering, combined with globally scalable delivery structures. The firm said it aims to accelerate the translation of technological innovation into concrete, industrially applicable solutions for clients.
"Germany has enormous engineering and innovation capacity. The challenge now is to combine that strength with the speed of digital technologies and artificial intelligence," Guidicelli said.
Akkodis, headquartered in Switzerland, employs approximately 40,000 engineers and digital specialists across more than 30 countries. It offers services in consulting, solutions and academy programs across multiple industries.
The transition follows organizational restructuring led by Klukas in an interim capacity during recent months.
