Aggreko, the UK-based provider of temporary power and temperature control solutions, has filed for an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, citing structural shifts in global energy demand.
The company said in regulatory filings that the proposed IPO will be led by Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan as top underwriters. Aggreko emphasized that electrification and the energy transition are straining existing grid infrastructure, increasing the need for reliable, on-demand power solutions across industries and regions.
In a statement, Aggreko described its business as designing, deploying, and optimizing engineered energy and temperature systems tailored to customer needs. The company operates technology-agnostic, modular solutions that support applications ranging from industrial behind-the-meter installations to utility upgrades, data center expansions, live event infrastructure, and emergency disaster relief operations.
Aggreko highlighted its global footprint, technical expertise, and customer-focused model as key differentiators. The company added that its disciplined operating approach underpins its ability to deliver power and temperature control solutions without interruption, regardless of location or duration.
The filing comes as governments and corporations prioritize energy security amid rising electricity demand and grid capacity constraints. Aggreko’s IPO plans follow a period of heightened focus on temporary energy infrastructure to bridge gaps in traditional power networks.
No financial terms, valuation, or share sale size were disclosed in the filing. The offering is expected to proceed pending market conditions and regulatory approvals.
