Acuity Analytics, the research and data analytics provider spun off from Moody’s in 2019, has appointed René Pandur as Managing Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
Pandur joins from German IT consultancy Adesso, bringing 19 years of experience in banking technology and transformation consulting. His appointment underscores Acuity Analytics’ strategy to deepen client relationships, expand local capabilities and strengthen its market presence in the DACH region, the company said.
Acuity Analytics was carved out of Moody’s Corporation in 2019 following its acquisition by Equistone Partners Europe. In January 2023, funds advised by Permira acquired a majority stake, with Equistone retaining a minority interest. The group has since expanded through acquisitions, including the 2024 purchase of PPA Group, which operates in Germany and Switzerland, and the 2025 acquisition of Ascent, a data and AI specialist.
The company employs more than 300 staff across Zurich and Basel, with a global workforce of approximately 7,800. Acuity Analytics describes itself as a leading provider of tailored research, data management, analytics and AI-driven solutions for financial institutions and corporations.
With offices in Darmstadt, Munich, Graz, Vienna, Basel and Zurich, Acuity Analytics already has a presence across the DACH region. The appointment of Pandur is intended to accelerate growth by leveraging his expertise in market development, client management and organizational leadership.
