Acer marked its 50th anniversary at IFA 2026 in Berlin by unveiling a range of AI-focused hardware and reinforcing commitments to sustainability and medical technology. The event highlighted the company’s pivot toward artificial intelligence across consumer, enterprise, and healthcare segments, with products designed for local processing to reduce cloud dependency.
The centerpiece of Acer’s AI strategy was the SFF RTX Spark, a palm-sized reference design built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell RTX platform. The system integrates a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU and 6,144 cores, delivering up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance with 128 GB of unified memory. It supports Adobe, Blender, and gaming titles such as Fortnite and Valorant, while maintaining compatibility with Windows ARM. Jason Chen, Acer’s president and CEO, emphasized the device’s compact form factor as a shift toward accessible AI computing.
Enterprise solutions included the Veriton RA110 AI Mini Workstation, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 3 processor and Intel Arc B390 GPU. The workstation supports up to 96 GB of dual-channel memory and AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, alongside Copilot+ PC certification. Acer also introduced the Qubic Claw platform, enabling one-click deployment of hybrid local-cloud AI tools for business environments.
Consumer devices featured the Swift Air 16 and Swift Blade 14 laptops, both incorporating 3K OLED displays and ultra-thin designs. The Swift Blade 14 weighs 799 grams and offers approximately 20 hours of video playback battery life, while the modular Vero 16 notebook is constructed with 50% post-industrial and 50% low-carbon aluminum, allowing for motherboard upgrades across two generations. Monitors included the Nitro XV275K P3, which supports 5K at 165 Hz or QHD at 330 Hz, and the Predator XB253Q U1, a 24.5-inch esports display with a 1,000 Hz refresh rate and 0.1-millisecond response time.
Acer’s medical division showcased AIoT systems deployed in hundreds of hospitals globally, including regions in Africa and Indonesia. These systems monitor blood sugar, lipids, and blood pressure to reduce stroke recurrence, with one program reporting a 14% reduction in recurrence rates. Dr. Alan Lan, head of Acer Medical, framed the technology as a bridge between medical expertise and underserved communities.
Sustainability commitments included a RE100 goal by 2035 and net-zero emissions by 2050. The company also highlighted partnerships with NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google, Intel, and Fujitsu to support its AI ecosystem.
